Education: BS, Public Policy and Administration - Western Oregon University

Biography:
Heidi Carter joined AKT Benefit Advisors LP in 2009. Prior to joining AKT, Heidi worked as a human resource generalist for ten years, making her a unparalleled resource for our clients and bringing a breadth of understanding in COBRA, FMLA and HR practices. Heidi works primarily with small and medium-sized groups assisting them with their enrollments and renewals. She is also the administrator of our technology solutions and provides training and assistance to clients with MyWave, our HR portal.

Heidi received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Policy and Administration – Human Resources with a minor in Communications from Western Oregon University. She maintains her affiliation with the Society of Human Resource Management.

Heidi lives in Salem with her husband, Scott, and their two children, Katarina and Calvin. They enjoy hiking and camping as Heidi pursues her hobby of nature photography.
