Biography:
Joanie Leaton joined AKT in 1984. Prior to joining the Benefit Advisors team in 2004, Joanie was the Firm Administrator and was responsible for human resources and benefits, giving her a unique perspective and making her a valuable resource for our clients. Joanie is an Account Manager working primarily with small and medium-sized groups. Her role is to assist with implementation, renewals, and employee education as well as assisting employers day to day as needed.

Joanie attended Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. She recently earned an industry credential — Group Benefits Associate — requiring several months of study and successfully completing three tests. Joanie is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Oregon Association of Health Underwriters.
